Tips to Minimize Cancellations
Reducing cancellations helps you maintain a strong reliability rating and ensures clients have a smooth experience. Here are some best practices to follow:
- Keep Your Availability Updated
Regularly review and update your availability in the app so it reflects the times you are truly free to accept appointments. Accurate availability helps prevent scheduling conflicts and last-minute cancellations.
- Respond Quickly to Offers
When appointment offers come in, respond as soon as possible. Accepting promptly secures the booking, while declining offers outside your service area helps the system send you better-matched opportunities in the future.
- Communicate with Clients
If you need to reschedule or adjust details, use the Inbox feature in the app to message clients directly. Clear communication helps avoid confusion and reduces the chance of a cancellation.
- Prepare Ahead of Time
Plan for travel, bring all necessary supplies, and arrive on time (ideally a little early). Being prepared helps you deliver a great client experience and lowers the risk of client-initiated cancellations.
- Use In-App Cancellations Wisely
You’re allowed up to 3 in-app cancellations within each 90-day period. Only cancel when absolutely necessary. Excessive cancellations may affect your ability to receive future offers.
