Article summary

Whether it’s your first time having a professional massage or you've booked your favorite provider, our best practice guidelines will ensure you and your provider are able to maximize your Soothe session.

Hygiene: Out of courtesy for your provider and to benefit a massage experience, we recommend showering before the session.

Health: If you are feeling unwell or may have been exposed to an illness, please inform your Provider via the app. We encourage you to avoid booking another appointment until you're fully recovered.

Pets: We love our pets and understand they are like family! However, to ensure your relaxation, we’ve found it’s best when they are put away in a safe place.

Substance Use: Many of our providers are sensitive or allergic to smoke, we kindly ask that if you do smoke, that the air is freshened up before the session begins. Please also keep in mind that alcohol and marijuana are a contraindication to massage and your provider has the right to refuse treatment if there are any signs of intoxication.

Mutual Respect: Everyone in our community deserves a comfortable and relaxing session. Please be mindful that our Providers, as professionals, are required to cover their clients appropriately when performing their treatments. We expect all clients to treat their provider with kindness and respect.
